Don't just fire up the machine and hit print. Follow these steps to prime the ink delivery lines:
- Activate the White Ink Circulation: Turn on your white ink pump and let it cycle for a few minutes to re-homogenize the settled titanium dioxide. Turn it off when complete.
- Lubricate the Wiper Blade: Release the carriage lock and manually slide the printhead carriage over to the left side of the machine. Apply a few drops of specialized printhead moisturizer straight onto the wiper blade.
- The Windshield Wiper Rule: Think of this like dry car wipers on a dirty windshield. If the rubber blade is bone-dry, it sticks, smudges, and distorts the nozzle face. Moisturizer allows it to glide smoothly and pull away debris.

Before you close up the shop for the night, you must protect the nozzle plate and completely clear out your maintenance hardware.
Step 1: Clean the Printhead Face
- Manually slide the printhead carriage completely over to the left side to give yourself room to work.
- Dip a premium, lint-free foam swab into warm DTF cleaning solution.

- Watch the waste lines closely: the distilled water should draw down rapidly, and both capping station lines must empty out at the exact same time. If one lags, you have a localized block in your lines.

- Once the fluid pumps through, heavily flush the rubber capping station one more time with distilled water to break down residual pigment crust.
- Grab a clean foam swab or a chemical-free 100% water baby wipe (absolutely zero active cosmetic chemicals, as cheap cleaners can react negatively with delicate rubber components) and thoroughly wipe down the rubber gaskets surrounding the capping station.
Step 4: Lock in the Protective Seal
- Now that the assembly is pristine and clear, fill the rubber capping station with either pure printhead moisturizer or active cleaning solution depending on your local climate needs.
